Honeymoon in the Carribean
The ceiling over the shower in the master bath leaked and was never fixed even though we reported it. One day the bed was never made. Other then that the hotel was very comfortable and the decorations were beautiful.

Best of Barbados (and away from the maddening crowds!)
Perhaps one of the most beautiful beaches Ive ever seen, matched perfectly by the facilities and amenities of the hotel and resort. The Crane is on the southeastern coast of the island, and if what you are interested in is a busy, crowded scene with block after block of hotels and shops and restaurants and tourists, and traffic... well, thats not what youll find at the Crane. The Crane provides wonderful seclusion, beautiful beach, several pools, breathtaking views, with ample opportunities in the Crane Village to shop, dine, relax... While there was some construction (the Village is being expanded to provide more amenities, and there are additional "interval ownership" residences being built, but there was little inconvenience or noise at all). If you do want to get out and about, even though we rented a car, after a few days of getting lost and trying to remember to stay on the "correct" side of the road, we found cabs or guided tours to be more convenient and relaxing ways to get where you want to go. Theres a wonderful deli just 5 minutes walk from the Crane (Cutters) that has the best rum punch on the island and makes a great breakfast or lunch - it even delivers to the Crane! All in all, a wonderful first visit to Barbados -- the Crane deserves its reputation as one of the best Caribbean resorts, and wed go back without hesitation.
