Very Nice and not on the Strip

Our two bedroom suite was perfect for our stay. The hotel was close enough to the Vegas Strip and the airport to meet our needs. We would stay there again as the need arises.

Convenience for travelers

We were returning to Las Vegas and planning to catch a flight out early next morning. Did not realize this hotel was located just across the highway from the car rental return location. Could not have been more convenient. After breakfast returned the car and on the shuttle to the airport. It was a busy travel day but everything worked like clockwork to get us to airport on time. This location is great for a quick in and out of Las Vegas. Accomadations were great if we had planned a longer stay.

Great Comfort

Great place - no longer had 3 bed suite, willing to give us 2 king suites, side-by-side. Nice breakfast, rooms, etc.

Great Place

This was a very nice experience. I planned to stay in the strip but as the cost for a family of 4 was too high in the strip as they charge everyone after 2 people, we selected this. Rooms were very clean and service was excellent. This made our stay in Las Vegas so much better. We had a rent-a-car and visiting strip was not an issue as all hotels have valet parking for couple of bucks expence. Thank you expedia. Your hotels are the best!

We flew to Phenix and drew to Las Vegas. US-93 is a 5 hour drive. The view is very nice. There is no human settlements for miles at a strech. If you are living in a city, this will be a good experience.

Very satisfying stay

This hotel served it’s purpose for what we needed. It was not exceptional, but it was very clean and had good service. The price was what we needed. The room was very clean and comfortable, the food was good. When we entered the room, a light was out, but when we called, it was fixed within a matter of minutes. Our second day, we had to call for housekeeping, but they came right away. I was a little worried about airport noise, but it was actually very quiet.

Very comfortable and convenient to the airport

Nice hotel that gave us time to access the area before touring the Grand Canyon and Red Rock Canyon. Free breakfast was very good. Although we returned to the trip for the rest of our stay I was very pleased with the stay. I highly recommend the hotel especially for people with children.

Perfect for us

We have been to Vegas many times and were just tired of putting up with the Casino crowd. We wanted something that was close to the strip, but didn’t want the traffic hassels. We were able to attend a couple of shows and eat a block off the strip and were very pleased with the morning breakfast provided. The outlet mall to the south was also a plus and we did meet a relative at the airport which was very close and he used the airport shuttle provided when leaving. Other than a little noisey ceiling fan, everything was great. We will diffently being staying here again.

This is an ideal location if you have a rental or your own car. Close to the strip for shows,gambling, shopping at outlet and other malls, dining fairly close. A little far away if you are planning on walking.

Best for non gambler

If you are visiting Las Vegas other than gambling, or do better without the gamers cigarette smoke, this is the place to stay.

Las Vegas Secret Gem

Breakfast was sufficient with waffles, cereals, sausages, & eggs. Saved $$ for a family of four. The rooms were larger than average and very clean. A must stay if you prefer to be off the Strip but nearby, within minutes to Vegas strip . Free shuttle from hotel to Mandalay Bay was convenient.

Slipped in service, quality, cleanliness

When I arrived my refrigerator was unplugged (and inaccessible). After calling and waiting 45 minutes (with my purchased food melting), I called again for assistance. One hour and fifteen minutes after my first call somebody arrived and shoehorned himself into the refrigerator space and plugged it in. The BED. My suspicion upon checking in was that the sheets had not been changed. I marked my sheets the next night and sure enough, no change. I called to have my sheets changed. I called again after an hour. Somebody showed up and dropped a set of sheets on the bed then turned to leave. "There are only two of us on duty", I was told, "You’ll have to change your own bed". I asked for another room and was allowed to move myself. Meals for which you would expect to have very low expectations now have failed to reach that low.

There is a small open mall nearby with several restaurants, a Fry’s Electronics, and a Whole Foods Store.

Not impressed

We usually like Homewood Suites because we like the larger rooms with a living area. This one was new & the room was nice. The location of the hotel, however, was a real drawback, although it was near the airport - it was isolated in an industrial area. The free breakfast was not as good as usual. And the air conditioner was loud.

Good Deal

Stayed here in a 2bd/2bth suite during a recent weekend where other hotels in the area were sky high. Good value, fairly new though starting to show some age. Lots of amenities, tv’s, mp3 radio etc. There is a small but nice pool area and breakfast in the morning. The area is near the highway, car rental place and airport (surprisingly not noisy). Full kitchen is more than is needed.. and a great deal if you get groceries or take-out. You’ll probably need a car to get the most out of your stay here. The rental place is about the only thing within walking distance.

There are coin-op laundry rooms on site, so you can plan to pack light.

Very nice suite-hotel.

Upon arrival into LAS, I called the Homewood. I was picked up at the airport and brought to the hotel. Later in the afternoon, the hotel driver dropped me took me to the LAS Rental Car Center. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very easy to access the freeways and Henderson. I will return to this suite-hotel when I need a room in Las Vegas.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

If you need to catch the free shuttle, call the hotel upon arrival. The shuttle will take you to Mandalay Bay Resort. If they are not busy, the shuttle will take you to the rental car center approx. 2 blocks away.

Strongy recommended

We were very pleased to choose this hotel for our stay in the midway to our two weeks of vacation to Utah. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comportable. We like the kitchen a lot so we can cook small simple meal to avoid gaining weight on vacation and save money.

What a great value for the money, clean rooms, free breakfast, free use of computer in lobby, and complimentary transportation to the airport.

Good Hotel away from the Strip

It was a very nice surprise. Rooms are big and comfy.

well priced and convenient

hotel was fairly new, room was great with full kitchen amenities, and spacious. Breakfast provided a large choice of cooked and continental self service, only down side was it was like feeding time at the zoo closer to the end of breakfast, and tables were not cleaned off in time, was a bit hectic with all guests trying to get breakfast at once. Suggest earlier breakfast to avoid this.

Excellent accomidations

The accomidations at this hotel were excellent for my weekend stay. The room was larger than expected that included a small kitchen and kitchen table. The bed was firm to my liking with extra pillows. There was free internet in the room. The location is south of the airport and the strip in a business park but the surroundings where quiet. The weekend breakfast bar had a wide variety to choose from. The desk staff helpful and pleasant.

I am impressed!!!!!

Feels like you are on your own apartment with everything that you need. Kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Only thing is that I couldnt close the darker drapes all the way so I can sleep in the morning because of the sun.Also,on our second morning,the breakfast was a chaotic.I think they are short stuff.Couldn’t accomodate the people and we have to wait for the food to be cooked.Pls work on that.

Better than expected

I was very pleased with our suite and the service we received at the hotel. No problems checking in or out. The air conditioning wasn’t great but it was bearable. Very happy about the free internet and breakfast (was average food, but lots of choices - only issues were that the milk was warm by 8:00am and the coffee cup lids weren’t the right size). Nice beds and a good little kitchen with tvs in both the bedroom and the ’living room’ area. Only about 5 minute drive from the MGM Grand end of the strip. Overall, much better than I expected.

Really clean

That was a really clean one for a good price. Breakfast was also included. THis was the first hotel I have ever seen that gives free breakfast in Vegas.

Good hotel for the family

The hotel is nice and clean. It is close to the strip but not close enough to walk, but not a problem because they have a shuttle that drops you off at Mandalay Bay. This is a great hotel if you are going with your family it’s away from all the crowds and smoke, the kitchen has a full size fridge, microwave, and stove so you don’t have to eat out every day.

Looking forward to going back . . .

I was looking for a great place to stay that was near the strip, the outlet and the airport. I have found it. I was very happy with my room (clean & nicely decorated), the pool area, gym, the friendly staff and the complimentary breakfast(served all week.) Dinner is served on certain nights as well. This property offers a shuttle service to the strip & offers a shuttle to the airport.

Great place to stay if you are on a budget and don’t mind not having a casino where you are staying. :-)
