Why stay anywhere else
Beautiful Venetian Palace with every possible convenience. Best location on Grand Canal near St. Marco but opposite side of square from Doges Palace where tourist traffic is very heavy on the Grand Canal. Have stayed here several times and wouldn’t stay any where else. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the gondolas and the canal traffic is delicious and delightful

Great central location but removed from San Marco crowds
Great location, near San Marco but away from the craziness of the crowds. Close to all the sites you would want to visit. Good restaurants nearby. Would recommend to others.

Go out to the hotel’s water view restaurant. While certainly not cheap it has a breathtaking view.

Bauer Hotel
Beautiful hotel well located near (but far enough away) from St. Mark’s. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite with living room, gigantic bedroom, two baths, and two walk in closets. It was spectacular.

Della Madona was a non-tourist and excellent restaurant.
