Lovely historic hotel
Extremely convenient location. Changed from King to two Doubles and got a corner room with view of lake. Would definitely recommend.

Great Neighborhood
This hotel is set in a great neighborhood and centrally located to just about everything you want to see in Chicago. I had a great time here and would stay at the Ambassador any time I go back. Hopefully that will be soon!

Great location in Chicago
We love the location of this hotel in a residential neighborhood with Lincoln Park just to the north and the Magnificent Mile just to the south. It is historic, so the plumbing is too, but the water does eventually warm up. The down comforter on the bed is so inviting we kept the room chilly just to use it. There is a good workout facility on site and plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. It’s also close to public transportation. We’ve stayed here twice and would do so again.
There is a poetry slam on Sunday evenings at the Green Mill (easily reached by the Red Line) that was terrific the night we were there.
