Beautiful View
We stayed at the Lake Powell Resort this fall and really enjoyed it. Our room was large and comfortable. The restaurants at the hotel are reasonably priced and the food was very good. The view can’t be beat. I would definately stay there again.

Great view
The hotel was fine. Check in staff was efficient, but a bit vague. Didn’t offer up any helpful information at check-in. The restaurant was pitifully staffed and therefore we were unable to eat at the lodge, a huge disappointment, had pizza and beer for a birthday celebration instead of a lovely dinner.

Would be nice to know about bus tours checking in and then arriving to the restaurant all at the same time.

What a joke
The pictures are definitely deceiving. Lake Powell was beautiful - the hotel and staff were horrible. The place is run-down and grimy. The staff was rude and could care less if you were happy with anything - they also will say anything to get you to stay and once you tied into a room they change what they agreed to. They I would definitely go visit lake Powell itself and skip over this resort. I’ve been to many places and this was the most over rated "resort" I’ve come across.
Traveler's tip
Take a tour boat to Rainbow bridge, but stay somewhere else.
