aging bathroom
The bathroom in my room could have stood to be remodeled. It wasn’t really dirty so much as kind of starting to fall apart. Other then that, the room was clean enough, the employees were nice enough for an over all decent stay, and i can’t think of much of a better location in Santa Monica. It is a 3 minute walk from either the pier or the promanade.

Cheep at the Beach
This is a nice older hotel only 1 block from the Santa Monica Pier and the beach. The pillows were the hardest pillows I have ever used. The room was run down but clean. The breakfast was muffins, coffee, and orange drink (not pure juice). Still for the price it was a good deal.

The room smelled like Urine and cigarette smoke.
The room smelled like Urine and cigarette smoke, out side the room it smelled like the sewer/trash. I hardley slept because of all the noises coming from the alley behind the hotel and the ice machine. There were not enough parkign spaces for the rooms there. The location was nice.
