Wish we lived closer
My husband and I stayed at the Stowe Mountain Resort in the middle of August and we had such a nice stay. The room was modern and cozy and had every amenity. I especially loved the green and white marble in the bathroom. The resort itself is hip and the staff was there to help us every time we had questions. The resort is gorgeous and we were treated like gold. The only negative feedback I had was when we were trying to get to one of their two jacuzzis( they were conserving heat by covering the pool and jacuzzis.) We had to walk through their gym, which is also amazing, but was ushered out so quickly it was as if they did not want you in there. That had occured the day before when we were trying to find the sauna and steam rooms that we were told they had but could not find. I understand that they need to ensure safety for their guests, but generally people want some privacy when working out and not feel as if they are being watched. Ultimately we had such a great time and have recommended the resort to our friends and family. We hope to be able to stay this winter.

Outstanding Service/breathtaking view
My wife and I went in peak of fall follage season. The drive though the mountains was great. The Lodge is located in a perfect place offering views of Mt, Mansfield and sirrounding peaks...all viewed from our balcony. In addition the restaurant is a four star establishment with great culinary delights with a local flavor. The Spa offered evverything from steam to swimming to treatments that were outstanding. The staff gave personal services from keeping room clean to greating you by name whenever they saw you. This was just a perfect mini vacation for my wife and I. Oh did I mention I got a great rate!!!!!!

Will definitely return
The hotel was beautiful,the views were awesome, and the staff was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. Foliage was just starting and the scenery was great, we can’t wait to back for ski season.

Plenty of outdoor activities. There were numerous restaurants and shops in the vicinity.
