Emerald
We were looking for a retalively low cost place to stay on a beach and found it in the Emerald. If you can ignore the little things like the dripping air conditioner and things here and there (treadmill) that dont work, youll be fine. Everyone said to walk from the airport and we tried but with large suitcases even with wheels it was a challenge. The beach is very nice and the hotel was clean and folks were friendly but we really spent very little time there. The restaurant service was a bit sketchy but the food was pretty good. I would skip it and head to Tickles nearby for breakfast and French Row restaurants for dinner, Island Time Pub in Red Hook for pizza and view. We rented a Jeep from Zip rentals and they couldnt have been more professional. The Jeep was delivered right to the hotel and picked up at the airport. The car was really essential to enjoy all the island has to offer. Coki Beach was our favorite. Dont be put off when you arrive, go in, rent a couple of chairs and enjoy the super friendly and helpful people there, went twice during our stay and the snorkeling was great. The weather was Spectacular!!!! Sunny and 85 every day and we had a wonderful time in St Thomas overall!!!

Close to airport-nice beach
We took our kids and the beach was nice and clean. The location is great for the airport but nothing else. The rooms (2 different stays) were good and fair. We would not stay here again but would move closer to town.

Very peaceful!!!
The most relaxing hotel Ive ever enjoyed. No nearby taverns, no radios blaring on the beach, no frat boys or "Woooo!" girls at the ice machine in the middle of the night. It is a ten minute walk from the airport, but there are no night flights to disrupt sleep. I would recommend it for anyone seeking to avoid a "Spring Break" vacation.
