One of the Best Hotels I’ve ever stayed in
The neighborhood was upscale & quiet. There were a few restaurants (Finnegan’s, Subway) and a CVS within walking distance. We were automatically given a free upgrade to a partial ocean view room with a balcony. The room was extremely spacious with nice decor. It was very clean with the exception of a q-tip & cigarette butt on the balcony floor. I liked the high celing and the bathroom was very luxurious! You entered the huge room with double sinks & a separate ledge and mirror, which came in handy for my sis & I to both do our hair/makeup. The actual shower & toilet were in separate room and there was another room- a big walk in closet with 2 luggage racks, shelving & drawers. We were thoroughly impressed! We also enjoyed the complimentary towels for the pool, complimentary fruit slices served poolside & the lagoon style grounds in general. The various pools, fountains, waterfalls, grottos & foliage made you feel like you were on a tropical island. Also, the proximity to the beach was great. If only the beach had better white sand. The service in general was excellent, from front desk, concierage, bellboys & wait staff. I would most definately return to this resort!
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Taxi to/from South Beach was about $21 each way. It’s worth it to go down to Collins Ave for people-watching, Lincoln Rd for shopping or Ocean Drive for the Art-Deco district.

Beach and swimming pool is the best. Definately a great place to stay at.
Great Place to stay at. Swimming pool is huge and beach is just right outside. Hotel hallway condition needs to be rennovated.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
When going to south beach restaurant. Waitress will tell you their specialties. Make sure you ask for the price before you order it. One meal cost me about $180!!!

Very nice place
This hotel has a nice beach and pool. We regretted that it only had valet parking. There was a very nice little safe in our room which was not in very good condition. The bathroom is laid out so that there is very poor ;ighting in the shower with the curtain closed. There was an excellent assoertment of TV channels and movies. The main dining room had excellent food and service.
