Love Kimpton
Ive never stayed at a Kimpton Hotel before but after staying at 70 Park Avenue have already started considering other Kimpton Hotels for trips I plan to make in the spring this year. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room well appointed. We were able to walk there from the train station and it was convenient to many shopping destinations. My only complaint is that the concierge was probably the least friendly of the staff I spoke to and sent me to two shopping destinations that were closed. One was not open on Saturdays and the other was closed for the New Years holiday. I would not hold this against the hotel in general however.

A conveniently located hotel
This hotel was conveniently located close to Grand Central station, making getting around very easy. It was also a short stroll to the excitement of Times Square and Broadway, a little further, but still within walking distance to Fifth Avenue and Central Park. Staff were friendly and quite welcoming, although accuracy and timeliness of information was at times a little lax. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Rooms were pretty cramped, and bathroom was extremely small; which Im told is the norm for NY! Even so, the room was still comfortable.
