Perfect for us!

We loved the room and the hotel. The pool as great as well, and averybody we talked to was friendly and cooperative. We hope we can stay here on our next visit to Las Vegas, away from the noise and gambling, yet very close to the action.

Peace and Quiet - Rare in Las Vegas

What a wonderful stay at Desert Paradise - it is indeed paradise at the end of a busy day in Las Vegas - great to enjoy peace and quiet after the noise of the Strip and all the Casinos. All staff very professional and extremely helpful with directions to attractions and accommodating client needs..A bit too chilly and windy to enjoy the pool, but all amenities were as advertised. Even though Desert Paradise is a time share property, we did not feel encumbered to attend info sessions and our privacy was well respected in this area. We will certainly return on future visits to Las Vegas - we give it a 5 out of 5 !!!!

Place to stay for families!

Wonderful 2BR Condo for a great price. We were too busy to use the pools, but they looked great. Even a children’s water play area. Nice clubhouse with coffee, pool table, etc. They will try to get you to attend a timeshare presentation, but it is not required. They did offer a $100 Visa card and a future 2 nt stay if we were to attend. Only thing we didn’t like was the carpet was dirty, which with little kids drew our attention. This is the place to stay for families...short hop/ride/shuttle to the strip without having to stay in a smoke filled casino. We will definitely look to stay here again!

What a great value!

There were two of us on this business trip, and it was so great having a separate bedroom and bathroom for each us as well as a comfortable living room and full kitchen to help us do our work. No smoky, noisy casino--not far from everything. The price was unbeatable for what we got. It ’s my new Vegas favorite!

Great place for a family

would stay there again

the one bedroom was very nice it had the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in on vacation.the hotel is off the strip the shuttle service does not always come back to pick you up so you will spend 12 to 15 dollars one way to get back other then that i was very pleased with the place.

Most Pleasent Stay

Very spacious, very neat and very good looking. Pretty calm atmosphere. Little outside from the strip and it pays off. Next time, no doubt I will book the same again (if I got the same rates :) ).

Beautiful 2 BR, 2 BA condo! VERY comfortable beds, 3 TVs, great fitness center and lovely pool area. Perfect for long stays.

Good for families

The suite was nice and clean. It worked really good for us cause we were four adults and two children.

It was a shame I had to pay to stay at my own timeshare property.

We booked this hotel to extend our stay by a few more days. We were expecting to use our points because it is our timeshare. Unfortunately, there were vacancies available through the resort. The front desk advised us to check with Expedia for availability. We went on line and were able to extend our stay for the time we needed. We were grateful because we did receive a great rate but disappointed that we had to pay to stay at a resort that we own. This was a little disturbing.

I recommend this hotel if you are bringing your family, especially with the comfort of using the full kitchen facility. Washer and dryer was a plus.

Very Good Hotel

Good hotel and service. The only draw back was they tried to get us involved in the time share meeting. We did not fall for it. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Good place for family

Condo is clean and secure. A few blocks off strip but still an easy drive to attractions. Good for family with kids as there is a full kitchen and laundry as well as two pool areas - an adult pool and spa and nearby a family pool and spa. Staff friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel for Youth Sports Teams

This Hotel is off the strip. Just far enough away from what you do not want your kids to see. Yet close enough to get around to surrounding gyms and the convention center. The kids would come back after a long day of sports and hang around the pool. There are BBQ’s right there. The hotel is 5 min away from groceries!!! The full size washer and dryer come in handy for uniforms and the full size kitchen is a must when feeding young atheletes.This is a gated complex and parking is right in front of your suite.Will be back!!!

Great for families since there are separate bedrooms and baths. Kitchen was great to have.

Since the hotel has a kitchen, go grocery shopping and you’ll save money on eating out.

very impressed

a wonderful place to come "home" to in the midst of a Vegas experience. Depending on your arrival times, maid service may not be available but extras can be easily requested. A great venue for family vacations/reunions etc.

Two week work trip

This resort was perfect for our two week trip for business. It allowed us to not spend tons of money eating out due to the kitchen. It had everything we needed. Please do make sure to review the checklist of items in the condo because there were several items missing and due to other expedia reviewer, I knew that someone complained about being charged for missing items. I did not want that to happen to us. The only other downside is having to be sold on a timeshare after fying for 5 hours and being on east coast time. We were tired and signed up for the appointment (free tickets were offered if you went on the tour) and a $20 would be lost if you didn’t show. I loved this place and will stay again.

Pleasant hotel stay in Vegas

this hotel was clean, quiet and just right for our needs, and away from the strip bustle, though not too far too.

Excellent Location and Amenities

We stayed here on our drive back from Disneyland and our kids simply loved the place. The pool was clean and beautiful. The rooms were perfect for our family of six. This place is a perfect alternative in Vegas to all the garbage of Freemont and the strip. The beds were comfortable and spacious. We would have like to spend more time there.

Includes full kitchen allowing us to save extra money by running to the grocery store and making a quick dinner. Great area away from all the garbage you see on the stip.

We just returned from a 5 day trip to Las Vegas. We booked this resort due to traveling with my mother-in-law and this place offered a two bedroom suite at an incredible price. When we arrived we were blown away! The suite was incredible. Very large bedrooms with walk-in closets. Full size washer & dryer. Very large master bath with garden tub. Also had a large in-room safe that we were able to store 3 laptops, a large camera lens, and other misc valuables. The staff was extremely courteous. They called the first day to tell us that we had a free gift waiting for us at the concierge desk. When we went to pick it up they took about 5 min of our time to offer a 90 min time share sales pitch about their resort. We declined and they did not bother us during the remainder of our stay. The grounds are beautiful as is the pool area. I will most definitely recommend this to anyone and will be staying there again soon.

Traveler's tip on dining

The buffet at the Orleans Hotel and Casino is fantastic and a great value. They offer a variety of foods to suit everyone’s taste. Their dessert bar is heavenly! On regular days it is around $10 a person for lunch. Friday nite is all you can eat seafood at $20 per person. We spent double the price on other buffets at some of the upper scale casinos and left hungry; the food was awful and not a big selection.
