"The perfect location"
The Castle Waikiki Shore is in a perfect location- the ocean is right out the back door. We had a ocean view condo with 2 twin beds and a sofa bed which was perfect for myself and 2 girlfriends. We loved having a kitchen, dining room table and living room. The washer and dryer came in handy also. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A hotel next door with a restaurant was perfect for eating out. We didn’t miss having a pool- who needs a pool when the ocean is right there. We would definitely return to the Waikiki Shore.

Best value on waikiti shore..
This condominium / Hotel has the best value for its location. Easy access to the shore and the shoppings. I was note happy the hotel concierge services.

Still waiting for resolution
The facility was more than adequate. Was a pleasure to be right on the beach, and bus route. It was worth the sacrfice of the hair on the bathroom floor at check in. We were planning to rent a car for part of our stay, turned out we didn’t need it. The only downside of staying here was the facility staff. At check-in, after traveling all day, Mark was overly chatty about how our mainlander attitude had to change. He wouldn’t let us read the terms of the agreement we were signing, he turned the paper over on the desk in front of us when we tried. At check-out, housekeeping started cleaning our room before check-out time and through away our lunch from the referigerator. After waiting 20 minutes, the facility reimbursed us $10, but seemed surprised we expected to be compensated. In reviewing our credit card charges upon return home, we found a $72 charge dated the day of check-out. We called and Lailela said we shouldn’t have been charged any amount at check-out and would be credited back to our credit card account within 24 hours, we still waiting for that credit.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
O’ahu is totally accesible by The Bus. It was good to let them do the driving, rather than missing the scenery as we attempted to figure out the road system. The amount we spent on bus fare each day was approximately the same as parking fees at each of the destinations.
