Best Deal in San Fran
Our room had a water view and extremely large living space. Rooms beautiful. We were with a large group and everyone congregated in our room. The night club downstairs was very convenient and packed with lots of pretty people. The staff were very nice and very professional. A++++

Friendly service, fading decor, problematic neighborhood
The staff were friendly, cheerful, professional, top rate. The Phillipe Starck decor is interesting, but trendy goes stale faster than fish left on the counter, and this seems headed that way, though just a personal opinion. The property is in the Tenderloin district with sleazy businesses surrounding it. I suppose a typical problem with downtowns in many cities, but it certainly is not a charming location. If you want to walk, need to be downtown, and don’t plan to walk alone at night, this is a good hotel, and a good value.
