What a great Stay!
From room to staff everything was excellent. I was helped out whenever I had a request....directions to places I needed to go, Restaurant recommendations in area, iron and ironing board brought to room. All done with a sincere effort to help me. I needed to stay an extra night and although sold out before my arrival, staff did everything possible to get me that extra night. When I checked the final day they found someone had cancelled and worked out a way for me to stay in same room. The restaurant where breakfast was served was delightful and food delicious. The restaurant staff was so friendly and service excellent. I loved the Hotel and area where located. I would go back to Golden just for a leisure trip.
Traveler's tip on dining
Only two blocks away was a shopping mall with lot’s of restaurants to choose from. My favorite was Mimi’s. Varied menu at reasonable prices. Tasty too.

Fair value but smoky
It is convenient to Golden (about 45 minutes to Denver), near a mall and restaurants; it’s own reastaurant is acceptable. The room and lobby are well kept but the non-smoking room and the hallway smelled heavily of tobacco smoke: not ideal for those with trouble breathing. Overall, a decent value for the money, and with windows left open, a breath of fresh air.

Very good service
The people were very helpful & friendly. They gave us advice about attending the concert at Red Rocks (another route, etc). The restaurant which is connected to the hotel had great food & friendly service.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
This motel is very close to a huge mall and fairly close to Red Rocks. Very good location if you are interested in either.
