Pleasantly surprised
When we arrived in the late night, the lobby made me leary. However, the room was a pleasant surprise. Very clean. The staff was very accommodating. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing I can say against it is that the pool should be vacuumed more frequently, but we enjoyed everything else about it. especially for the money. The location was great for getting around.

Comfortable Beds and great staff
For the price this is a great place to stay. Beds were great. Older hotel but the rooms are large, beds are great, pool is clean and staff very helpful and nice. Great downtown location. Quiet. Breakfast is ok, not too many choices but what they did have was good. We would stay there again if visiting Sacramento.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If your interested in being close to the capital and downtown sights this is a great place. Minutes from old town Sacramento, Sacramento Musical Theater, Capital this is a great place to stay.
