Not impressed
Although the personnel was very nice. the halls were not air conditioned and were very hot and the ac was not on in our room until we turned it on and it never did cool down. The elevator was out of service when we were ready to check out and the was a lot of noise in the halls all night.

A Good Place To Stay
This is a relatively new hotel, and is very comfortably decorated in the public areas as well as the individual rooms. The staff is very friendly and courteous.

A very good deal!
This hotel is being remodeled and will be a LaQuinta when it is completed. Meanwhile the room I had was already transformed and was as clean and quiet and comfortable as any good chain hotel. And while all the chain hotels in St. Mary’s County were booked this place had plenty of vacancies and a MUCH lower rate. It does not have a good online presence. Not much offered for breakfast, but a great bargain on the room.
Traveler's tip on dining
Excellent food at Cafe de Artist in Leonardtown. The croussants they make are awesome. This is a place where every detail has been thoughtfully handled and where every bite is a delight. The crab cakes at Clarke’s Landing in Hollywood were the best ever, but everything they were serving looked fantastic. You can enjoy your seafood outside overlooking the Patuxent River.
