Lovely hotel with incredibly comfortable beds in a great location on the Main street of Lake Placid.

beautiful
This hotel was beautiful, the staff was wonderful, and it is in a wonderful area! The only down fall would be that even though the room had been paid in full upon reservation, when I arrived at check in they put a hold on my card for the full amount of the room for incidentials... which seems like alot to me considering the price of the room, but the women who checked me in did not inform me of this and just ran my card through! other than that it was wonderful!

The area dinning is all pretty much the same, i recommend the dancing bear for casual dinner, its about the same as the other restrants in the area and cheaper!
