nice downtown alternative
If you need to be downtown, need a great rate and are not a perfectionist snob.. this place is very nice.... very well maintained but not totally exclusive and even thought the rooms are small, your in and out cuz its downtown biz or tour. park across the street in covered secure parking for less and safer than other guys. Have been here before, but went cheapiest expeddia this time so i know they can upscale. Very friendly and accomadating staff. Wireless is FREE. The bar is reasonable(downtown toronto) and comfortable.

Fun in Toronto
This was a nice hotel room but not fantastic. The room we had gave us a view of the CN tower. The room was very clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
If you want to get an overview of the city, take one of the tours. To get around the city take either the streetcars or the subway. They are quick and pretty cheap. Make sure to buy tokens and ask for a transfer when you can.

Good location, clean room and reasonable price
Metropolitan hotel is in a good location in two senses: (1) this hotel is located near bus terminal and shuttle bus from and to the airport comes to this hotel, and (2) there are good and reasonable restaurants near this hotel. In addition, Metropolitan hotel has very clean rooms. For the reasons described above, I am really satisfied with this hotel.
