Good stay
A good Westin hotel. The room looks very well, beds are comfortable; the pool area is big and nice. The breakfast buffet is very good quality, with good variety. The staff is very nice and provides good service.
There’s a little supermaket right in front of the hotel; you can buy bottled water and similar stuff at convenient price; there’s also an ATM in there.

Loving The Westin!!
We had a WONDERFUL stay at The Westin! It is located in Marina Vallarta, which is just a short bus/taxi ride from downtown. The bus runs right in front of the hotel, and was only 5 pesos per person! The staff is incredibly friendly, and upgraded us to a better room at no charge. The 4 pools are terrific, and they do a nice job of separating the kid areas from the adult areas. We prefer to sample authentic cuisine when we travel, so we didn’t eat at the hotel at all. There are quiet restaurants right nearby in the marina, and of course many to choose from downtown. Be sure to take a visit to "the old town", where there are lots of cute stores and real Mexican food!! We are already planning our trip for next year, and will be staying at The Westin again!!
Utilize the buses! True the taxis are cheaper than in the States, but the bus system is so easy and will save you A TON of $$ over the course of your stay!
