Great Budget Stay in San Francisco
Presdio TravelLodge is a great budget motel in San Francisco. Older 1970’s style motel, but the rooms are nicely updated with the usual level of motel ammenities. The Presidio is a very nice area of SF, and at the rate we paid this is a great value. Public transportation is close by, cheap and convenient. Because we were on a quick business trip, we did not rent a car, and this location was perfect for our trip. This is also a DOG -FRIENDLY motel, with an off leash excercise area 1/2 block away on the Presidio grounds. We felt safe and secure in this neighborhood both walking and in using the bus. The staff were friendly and helpful.

D & M 40th
The hotel staff was very friendly and cooperative. One problem was that the door key writer was not working and we had to contact a staff member in order to enter our room. Other thanthat the visit was very pleasant.

Great location for a stay in SFO
Very nice people at the front desk, ready to help and make us enjoying the stay. nevertheless, I choose the hotel especially because it was mentioned parking free and this is first in first serve... about 10 spots for 50 rooms!

it’s better not to rent a car in SFO but to take the bus and to walk. almost every places where to eat around the fisherman’s wharf are crowdy, noisy,food is so so and expensive-
