Kapalua Villas

We stayed in a partial ocean gold view room. I would have considered this a total ocean view. The scenery from our patio overlooked two golf holes at the Bay Course, the ocean and another island. The one bedroom condo was very spacious with two bathrooms (one for me, one for the wife). The condos were totally furnsihed, even with kitchen items so you could cook in some of the nights. BBQ grills were available at the pool area. We had daily turn down service that would always leave clean towels (even beach towels). The Kapalua Villas are a great place to stay with the feeling of being at home. It is definitely better than staying in a hotel. I will be back and stay at the Kapalua Villas again. The local restaurants were all excellent. Our favorites were Plantation House, Pineapple grill, BJs Pizzeria, Tomato Basils, Maui Brewing Company. The Lahaina Lua was excellent too.

To help keep costs down, I would recommend to buy groceries at Safeway or Costco and try to only eat out once per day. We liked to eat breakfast and lunch at the condos, and go out for dinner.

Perfect!!!!

We just returned from a one week stay at Kapalua Villas, and I must say was probably one of the best experiences of traveling I have had. I was a little uneasy about the stay when we booked. It was a last minute change after we found out our other hotel had been foreclosed on. After reading some reviews about some of the Villas not being as nice as others, etc, I thought I would look into it myself. I contacted Kapalua Villas with my concerns for my stay and they assured me they would see that they placed us in the best possible room on arrival. When we arrived, they had kept their word!!! Placed us in a Gold Ville (free upgrade) right on the 10th hole!! It was beautiful to say the least! The staff was very well attentive and even the days we left the privacy sign on the door, they still called to make sure that we didn’t need anything. Access to the Ritz was a real treat too! The pools at the Villas are small, but nice to take a splash in, but the Ritz pool was spectacular and we are glad we could have access to that. There are no beaches within a short walking distance but we found some great little beaches just a couple miles up the road. MM32 has a tiny parking lot and you will miss it if you are not looking. It’s a small hike, but at the bottom is Honolua bay, amazing snorkeling and a perfectly uncrowded little beach. I would highly recommend this hotel and we plan on staying here again in two years with all of our families!

great trip

Gold villas were amazing. Ate breakfast on the lanai overlooking the water every morning. Being able to use the Ritz was a nice addition. We will be back.
