Extremely Satisfied - and 2 blocks from Union Station/Metro
I visited DC to see the Smithsonian museums and zoo. This hotel was within 2 blocks of Union Station and Union Metro - which has numerous food stands and some open 24 hours. You could also walk to the capital and the Smithsonian "Mall", which is the center of a number of Smithsonian museums. The hotel also allowed me to check in at 8am that morning once I got off the all-night Amtrak train ... allowing me to take a shower and leave all my junk in the hotel room. I stayed three nights and when I called down to see extending my stay one additional night, I found out just how great of a deal I got on my room. Their price for the additional night would of cost me more than what I paid for two nights thru Expedia. This is a business style hotel. I walked from the Union Metro 2 blocks to hotel every night and felt fine. I would stay here again with no issues.
