Perfect Location- across from museums and park.
I had seen not so good reviews for this hotel, I was however very happy with my stay. This hotel is right across the street from the park and museums, perfect location. They upgraded my room which had a lake and park view, I would highly reccomend these rooms as they have plenty of natural light. Overall service was great. The hotel is older, but the location was the key for me, and the price was very reasonable. Would definitly stay there again. The staff was very helpful with directions as I was in town for a conference.

Gotta Go Back There
The Best Western Grant Park was so convenient to the places we were primarily interested in and is in fact within walking distance to the Field Museum. Meis Kitchen, although not affiliated with the hotel served up some great food.
Be wary of the hop-on, hop-off trolley. It was a $60, 10 minute ride.

A hotel for 20th century travelers
We were there for 5 days. The wireless connection never worked. Each time we told a front desk staff member, they acted like it was the first time they had heard of the problem. But many other guests in the lobby were grumbling about the lack of internet access too. This is often a given with other Best Westerns. The cleaning service was iffy too.
