I would definitely go back.

I was very impressed with the room we had. It had all the amenities of an apartment, except a stove. However they did provide gas grills outside of the hotel. The view and location of the hotel were beautiful, right on the beach. The only problem I had was with the staff. They only seemed happy to help if I was planning on buying something from them, as if I hadn’t spent enough money to stay there. Besides that, I had a great time and would recommend staying there to my friends.

MAUI’S Best HOTEL

This resort is wonderful everything that i would expect it to be, 5 star resort. Very large rooms, large lobby and also it has the largest pool on the kaanapali side of maui so that was a big plus for us since we like to hang by the pols alot. Right infront of the resort their is a very large and beautiful becah which is called kaanapali beach very nice. I will recommend this resort to everyone it is perfect for friends familys or just couples traveling alone

No beach swimming and other missing amenities

This is a beautiful timeshare, but its not a hotel with full hotel amenities. The facilities are wonderful, beautifully maintained with a great poolside restaurant. But no room service. Since its a timeshare, they launch into the sales plan immediately after you check in. Before you see the room, you will be directed by the front desk to the Concierge so they can provide helpful information about your stay. Its a trick. Its a real estate office disguised as a concierge desk and the staff there will attempt to determine if you qualify to own a timeshare and try to book an interview during your stay. Later they wont even answer the phone or return your call unless you are calling to schedule a presentation. The suites are fabulous and I loved the roomy bathroom. The room is furnished with an area for dining so we picked up dinner and had take out on the nights we wanted to relax in the room. Finally, the biggest disappointment was the beach. You cant swim at the beach directly in front of the facility. There are dangerous currents and a red flag and sign warning guest not to swim. We drove to the public beach in Kapalua. This area is protected in a small cove and was great for swimming and snorkeling - very suitable for small kids to play. We also drove to a public beach called Airport Beach that has a long stretch of sandy beach area also great for swimming and snorkeling. Im so anxious to return to Maui but will find a better beach location for my next trip.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Best snorkeling at the public beach in Kapalua and Airport beach. We rented equipment from Boss Frog’s and they gave us hints on where to go each day for the best surf, clearest water or best snorkeling.
