Nicely located in the middle of Singapore, affordable, mordern
The hotel is very nicely located, with Chinatown, Riverside and Clarke Quay all in walking distance. The rooms have a modern style and were always clean. Price is very affordable and hotel staff was always friendly. Some of the rooms are a bit noisy due to the central location and hotel staff went for the money when I had a problem with my reservation. They were very unflexible in this situation (typo in reservation). All in all I would recommend it, as long as you do not neet any flexibility of service.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you wanne be in the middle of where it happens, this is the place to be. Not to recommend for honeymoon etc.

The first night my room was not ready and we got an "upgrade". That room had a futuristic design, but had technical problems such as water leaking out of the bath tub (the shower head was loose and not usable. My family left after one night and I stayed for a second in a different room. That room was technically very good quality. The personnel was very supportive. The good part of the central hotel: it is in walking distance to China town and other downtown points of interest. Internet access is not free! I stayed before at the Furama Riverfront, which would be my choice returning to Singapore; a little outside the center, but still at the river and in 15 minutes walking distance to the downtown area. And taxis are cheap in Singapore
Visit the Night Zoo! It’s unique. Take a taxi and not a guided tour. Avoid Orchard street. It’s a waste of time and things are not cheaper; sales people may be unfriendly if you just browse and do not buy.
