Better than expected
I travel to bridge tournaments where I spend little time in the room, so I look for attractively priced accommodations as a priority. This hotel was substantially better than most of the other accommodations in it’s price range. Comfortable, well appointed, with a larger bathroom than usual. A very pleasant stay.

IDEAL FOR MY NEEDS
I go to Monterey every year in early January to attend a function at a hotel located nearby to the Travelodge. The price of rooms in this motel change with the season, but they are VERY reasonable in January. The rooms are not special but they are clean and well appointed with a wifi connection, a regfrigerator and a microwave in every room. Great value for the price!

Decent Budget Priced Accommodation
Nothing fancy, in fact the breakfast buffet was minimal. But the rooms were comfortable and very reasonably priced. If you are looking for function rather than ambience, the Monterey BayTravelodge should be what you are looking for.
