A sanctuary amongst the chaos
I enjoyed my stay during the first week of November even though it was disrupted by the constant noise of labor picketing from across the street at the Grand Hyatt. Campton Place is a quiet sanctuary from all of the hustle and bustle of a busy city. You are greeted by one, and sometimes two, doormen who welcome you into and out of the hotel. My room was very cozy and comfortable. I took Bart from the airport and back. This was my first attempt at doing this and it was a breeze, cheap, and fast, only $8.10 each way.

Wished I could have stayed longer.
We came to SF for the Womens Marathon to be there for our daughter who ran it. The staff was all extremely courteous especially the doorman who was the best! The breakfast in the resturant in the lobby was one of the best we had that weekend.

Great Hotel for anyone with business on or around Union Square
I have stayed across the street at the Grand Hyatt several times, and would recommend this hotel over the Hyatt. The staff was unbelievable, the room was great, the bathroom was big and nice. The room service breakfast was way too much for one person, but it was fun to try.
