Can’t wait to go back!
Our stay was GREAT! The location of our hotel was perfect for getting around to all areas of the city. The hotel staff, especially the restaurant staff, were wonderful and as a result, we ate breakfast there every morning. The food was also wonderful! The bed was exactly as they advertised, VERY COMFORTABLE.

Terrific stay in San Francisco!
The Hyatt at the Embarcadero must be the best hotel in San Francisco. Although the price was a little steep, I got what I paid for. The location is magnificent, right across from the Ferry Building and a moderate walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. Restaurants galore! The cable car starts in front of the hotel so you are always guaranteed a seat. And on the weekend there is an arts and crafts street fair for browsing and buying. My room was quiet and comfortable. There was a sliding glass door (no balcony) which opened up to a view of the bay. Look in the closet for the coffee pot. The only drawback was the absence of a sundries shop in the lobby. But the CVS is right across the street next to Starbucks.
Forget cabs or hotel shuttles! Take the BART -- it goes everywhere.
