Comfortable - as an old shoe
The hotel was overall quite good. We stayed for a night (May 24, 2009). The biggest disappointment was finding that our bedsheet had a rip in it. I called the front-desk to complain, but it was too late in the night and we were too tired to have their housekeeping come in and change it. The tear was quite prominent and I would have expected housekeeping or even the maid to have noticed it earlier and not have used it in the room.

Be sure to check out the Matsuhisa restaurant across the street from this hotel! It’s a tad pricey, but both the food and the ambience are awesome!

Hotel Jerome is Aspen’s best hotel.
We were treated like royalty from the first day to the last. I our view Hotel Jerome is the perfect hotel for a ski holiday in Aspen.

Most historic hotel in Aspen!
The hotel was conveniently located in town center a few short blocks from the slopes. The service at the hotel was first rate. Additionally, we found the hotel to be extremely personable and very cozy. Our room was offered impecable views of AJAX
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The Library Bar at the Hotel Jerome is an absolute gem. It (the ORIGINAL bar from the 1889 Grand Opening) oozes romance and ambiance with it’s warm (candlelit) and subdued lighting.
