nice stay but not all hoped for
my husband and i just returned a few weeks ago. beautiful hotel, very clean, just like the pictures. however, everything was very expensive, including the drinks..wow! i was very suprised. there were also topless women sunbathing on beach and resort property, so don’t be suprised by this. definitely not a child friendly resort. beach was beautiful but very windy almost every day. if you want to save a lot of money, plan on buying your alcohol at the airport and buy mix-ins and beer at local convienent stores to save money, then take an ice chest to the beach! eat at 100% natural for breakfast and la habiechula downtown for dinner! ride the bus instead of taxis.

Sexy Cancun Hotel
My fiance and I booked a suite to get a balcony, and it was fantastic. Incredible views and privacy. Our room had a spa tub that overlooked the ocean. The hotel itself was absolutely immaculate, and looked just like the pictures posted on their website. One negative was that the walls must be thin, we could hear our neighbors conversations. Also I recommend utilizing the safe, the hotel staff will lock you out ("for your safety") if you leave any valuables laying out. In our case that was a cell phone, watch and a few peso coins. Room service proved to be a good value in relation to the area restaurants. Contrary to numerous postings, we experienced no unexpected charges at checkout.

Fancy Hotel, Bad Electricity
Had to call maintenance 4 times in a week for problems with electricity and the TV set. Lounge music 24/7 becomes truly annoying when you start hearing the same songs again and again. Air refresher in lobby is too strong, so not a good choice if you have asthma or allergies. Room service was very good and staff was nice, though.
