will not stay at thishotel again
hotel very crude and nonfunctioning. Sink was cracked, water leaked in bathroom, lights did not work, and floors dirty and carpet torn. Old bed linens and small bathtowels. absolutely would not recommmend this hotel to family and friends.

Pretty cool for off of Union Square
Overall -- was quite pleased with my stay. The room et cetera was comfortable. For being located within San Francisco proper -- did not hear much "urban" noise. The complimentary breakfast and wine (and snacks) during the afternoon was quite refreshing. Staff was extremely accommodating.
Traveler's tip on dining
Take advantage of the good restaurants not just Dim Sum in nearby Chinatown but the other recommendations by the staff.

This place is fine.
The room we had was small but clean and very suitable for our needs, given that we were out all day and essentially only slept there. It was conveniently located to Union Square, and there was shuttle service to the airport. The morning breakfast was excellent, as advertised. We certainly would stay there again and recommend it to our friends.
Traveler's tip on dining
Cafe Claude, a few blocks away, is an excellent French cafe for dinner.
