Would love to go back
The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The spa and pool were nice. What I loved the best was the room with the deck overlooking the ocean and the walk to the beach. It was close enough that you could walk to the pier.

Old and dark
I was very disappointed in this hotel. The web site made the place look light and airy. We were placed in a part of the hotel that was old and dingy. The room was very ordinary and not well appointed. It just looked old. The exterior halls were also old and dark. The staircase rails were dusty and sticky! It does not deserve a 3 plus rating.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Plan on doing a lot of resting while in Santa Barbara. It is one of the most boring towns I have ever visited.
