Everything we had hoped for
My husband and I were very pleased with our 4 day stay at the Old Parsonage Hotel. Everything about the hotel was charming, from afternoon tea under the blossoming wisteria in the front garden, to the fireplace burning in reception, a bowl of apples in a passage, to stepping out to the back garden from tall doors in our 2 room suite. The room itself was very nice, and had ample closet space to hang everthing. The adjoining sitting room made it all spacious, although I might recommend a more comfortable couch (it’s a sleeper bed also, but still, a couch should be comfortable as a couch). Perhaps best of all, there was actually ample light to read by. Oh, and FREE internet in the room. The location was wonderful, combining a parking lot for our rental car and just a 10 min. walk to the very center of Oxford. All in all, we were pleased to no end.
