STAY AWAY
THE SECOND DAY WE WENT AND BOUGHT NEW PILLOWS, THE ONES AT THE MOTEL WERE STINKY. THE CARPETS WAS VERY DIRTY AND THERE WERE BIG STAINS ON THE BEDSPREADS..The pool was nice and the breakfast was also, but the rooms were nasty and they smelled bad. I would never stay there again and feel like the price was out of line for the quality. This was a very cut-rate motel. I feel robbed.

Go to Fort Pulaski, it was great and the beach at Tybee Island was real nice, too.

Wouldn’t go back for free
The motel was dirty. There were hairs on the sink counter, on the bathroom floor and in the ice bucket. There was a puddle on the bathroom floor. The carpet was filthy, my little girl’s white tights were black from walking across the carpet. We couldn’t let her down off the bed for our whole visit. Maid service came in and "cleaned" our room by making one bed and removing used towels and washcloths(not replacing). They didn’t do anything else. The staff was very friendly and wanted to help but only had limited resources and/or knowledge.

Would stay again for a short vacation.
Check in was fast and pleasant, staff was friendly and knowledgable. Room was small and basic but clean. Hotel was not on a main road and was very quiet. Breakfast was better than we expected with good coffee choices.

Ryans restaurant next door was cheap but a good buffet with cook to order steaks.
