Horrible Hotel
This hotel I would not recommend to my dogs. The beds were like sleeping on bricks. The hotel was very old and very dirty. The lights did not work we had to call to have them fixed. No ironing boards or irons. I tripped going into our bathroom not knowing when I opened door that you had to step up at least a foot. Very tiny bathroom. No one spoke very good english. Front desk clerk was not nice to us at all. Overall has to be the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Luckily it was only for one night. Only redeeming factor it was located right across from Bayside Park so we could walk and get get dinner and shop.

4 trips, 18 nights in one year! I will definately return.
Comfort, safety and no frills for the budget concious. My longest stay was 10 nightas and recently as October 2009 6 nights. The staff remembered me, and welcomed me back. There are many places of interest in close proximity in this downtown location and getting around is easy. One could always spend more money for a bed but really why would you in Miami, when most of your time is spent outdoors in any case. With Bayside accross the street, Miami Beach a short ride away with shopping within easy reach, this hotel is truly the best deal. CVS Pharmacy is next door and a Subway is around the corner. If there were any major improvements then the prices would go up, therefore I am happy with the place. Highly recommended.
Use the Metro Mover to get to the MetroRail at Government Centre. from there, transport to many points in Miami is cheap and easy. Plan your day ahead of time to maximise the benefits.

not at all impressed
I would only recommend this place if you are on a tight budget. The room was small and the bathroom was even smaller. The hotel appears to be very old and could really use a makeover.

The Miami waterfront was a very pleasant attraction with lots of interesting shops and reasonable prices!
