Service not up to Westin expectations
I’m a member of Starwood and have stayed at many Westins. This particular hotel is below my expectations. The tone is set when you pull up to the front to check in and there’s three or four guys just standing there talking that can’t even be bothered to say welcome. Head into the hotel to register and those same guys are only concerned with when you will move your car that is causing no blockage. I’ve never seen such a waste of hotel labor as that group of men doing nothing but visiting with each other. The room was very small and the bathroom (I normally love Westin showers) is old and outdated. Certainly not Heavenly. I think the entire time we were there, the only really friendly person we encountered were two maids in the hallway. Would I recommend this hotel....no way. There are too many others that for that kind of money would be better. The grounds are beautiful but so are the grounds at most of the hotels in the area. Check out the Hyatt!!!!

Fantastic vacation!!!!!
From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were treated like we owned the place! The staff wasn polite, and very accomidating. Whatever activity we wanted to do, the concierge staff made it happen. The room was great, bed was comfy, and was cleaned top to bottom everyday at the same time, which was VERY nice. The grounds are absolutely first class. Truly one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed at. The adult pool REALLY is for adults, very peaceful even during the day. Parking was not an issue, if the lot was filled, they will valet your car at no charge.
While you’re at the Westin, visit the breakfast buffet at Ono Bar and Grill. The food is great.
