Magical Views
We booked 2 nights oceanfront for Thanksgiving 09. Having read some other reviews I was skeptical. We had been assured that the hotel had gone through renovations. They showed. The rooms were beautiful, beds and pillows comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful and you can’t beat the view. The service was kind and informative. The Resturant was excellent!! We had dinner. It was a restful stay and we would go again.

Simply Excellent
La Jolla Shores was an excellent experience--we were upgraded to a beautiful ocean front room because the hotel was less full than usual. The beds were comfortable, the room had been newly updated, and the location was, as always, unbelieveable. Highly recommended! Right on the beach.
