Terrific property in a terrific city.
Very nice property located in a central location within walking distance to most of the French Quarter. Unlike some of the chain properties in town, this hotel has great individual style representative of the area. The Polo Lounge sets a tough standard to match for an on-property bar and the staff throughout the hotel were flawless. We didn’t dine at the restaurant, but the several breakfasts we had from room service were excellent and the menu selection went far beyond what you’d typically expect. My only less than positive experience resulted from the hotel’s proximity to the Harrah’s casino, who apparently has an outdoor party with DJ beginning at 9:00 AM on Saturdays. The hotels windows were no match for the blathering DJ and thumping bass. I’m not old enough yet to be complaining about loud music (to the contrary, I’m often the source of it), but this was ridiculous - even the guy from room service had some unkind words for Harrah’s. This is obviously in no way the fault of the Windsor Court though. I’d recommend requesting a room facing downtown instead of the river, which places you on the other side of the property and in blissful silence.

Windsor is Wonderful
Some things are a little bit dated, but overall a wonderful place to stay in a fabulous location. Valet service for retrieving our car was always virtually instantaneous.
