Great Time

Went here for my brothers wedding, everything was done beautifully. Hotel went out of there way to accomidate us due to weather or other circumstances. Everyone in the hotel was extremely nice including bartenders and waitresses. The hotel had many arranged entertainment events for all the guests including a fire dancer. Everyone in our party had a wonderful time.

Wonderful accommodations for our daughter’s wedding.

We were certainly delighted with the hotel accommodation and with the courtesy of the hotel staff. I cannot speak for the friends and family who attended our daughters wedding, but I did not hear and single complaint from any of them. Keep up the good service!

Don’t miss the short ferry trip over to Saint Johns. Takes about 20 minutes one way. If you are into beaches, the beaches are lovely.

remember "island time"

Things operate differently in the Carribean -- so don’t expect typical American standards. I.E. Don’t go to dinner hungry or expect all of the plates to come out at once -- food took about 45 min - 1 hour and when I was in groups of people ranging from 4-16 nothing came out at the same time. Also, clarify the menu -- "are all the ingredients available" "does the mango salad acutally have mango in it." Also, I noticed that the people in my group that went with the all-inclusive option never left the resort. I did not have all-inclusive and when I went to eat with them at night or for breakfast the resort meals were really expensive. I ended up going into town (Red Hook) for more meals and met all sorts of interesting people and felt like I saw more of the island. So I would suggest thinking about what you want from your experience. Most meals at local restaurants were reasonable to expensive for finer dining so the all-inclusive may not be worth it -- if you plan on drinking a lot, it might be worth it but I found even a beer took so much out of me in terms of energy because it is so hot there -- and I am a drinker. The cab rides into town are cool too, there is so much to see -- its not all blue water and beaches though, shacks and dilapitated houses, new construction with chickens and donkeys in the road -- I like seeing that, if you don’t then probably stay at the hotel.

Talk to people!! People are super friendly there.
