Can not wait till I am back
The hotel was not my first choice as the school sponsored hotel was full. This was close to it so I chose it. What a blessing in disguise! My suite was comfortable, microwave, refrigerator and mini-kitchen sink. I had not been in Nashville since 1971 and upon arrival, Michael, the shuttle driver, took my luggage and proceeded to give me an overview of Nashville 2009. The scenery, trees with leaves of gold, purple and green was spectacular as we rode up this hill where the hotel sat. It was quiet Hotel staffer, Anthony, greeted me and was very courteos during my entire stay. The breakfast is too die for, homecooked meals to start your day with cooked oatmeal, fresh fruits, waffles, potatoes, cheese grits as well as regular grits. Now, there are not many places that have a chef who knows how to get the right consistency of grits. This is the place. MissAnnette, the maid along with Miss Maria, kept my room spotless and filled with clean towels. I plan on staying here next year. Come on over!

Not impressed this time
I have previously stayed at this hotel, but I was not impressed this time. The iron was broken, I requested another one, but it was never delivered. Housekeeping only changed linen, room was not vacuumed. There was a large wedding, about 200 guests, held in the lobby of the hotel, very inconviencing for other guests. The breakfast was very unorganized, there is only one entrance, therefore, everyone was in the same line for 20-30 minutes before the line splits for the buffet versus omlette line.

Not pleased....
This was our 2nd trip to Nashville for a concert and last yr this hotel was wonderful. This time, we had to leave our first room because the bath tub had so much black mold between the tiles. The bar closed down on Fri & Sat @ 9:30. The 2nd room was better but we still did our cleaning. I wanted to ck out and go to another hotel...
