Will be returning next Spring!
The staff were all extremely helpful, the location was excellent in Union Square, the room was great. The heavenly bed was so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. The heavenly shower was blissful, and Im still missing it now 3 weeks after I returned home. I will certainly be returning to this hotel when I come back to the Bay Area for a holiday.

Couples Weekend at the Westin St. Francis
Had a great time on our exteneded weekend in San Francisco with friends. We got a tremendous deal theough Expdeia on air and hotel. Our room was in the older part of the hotel and had no view (thus the huge discount) but that was "ok" as we were only there to sleep. It being the older part of the hotel, the room was very small, no bureau to put your clothes. The bed was comfortable, pillows were tiny. The bathroom, couldve been cleaner. I gave "clealiness of room" a three because of that. But overall - the hotel was great no issues checking in, location was perfect for every mode of public transportation. Would I stay there again, yes, but I might want to upgrade my room to the newer towers. Also dont be afraid of public transportation, very easy to use and is cheap, especially to get to the airport - only $8 on the BARTand VERY easy.

A Classic San Francisco Hotel
We booked two rooms for a weekend before Christmas for three generations - grandmother, 50 year old daughter, and two teenage grandkids. The area was perfect for getting into the holiday spirit, with the beautiful decorations around Union Square and the streets filled with bustling shoppers and festive storefronts. The hotel is legendary and perfectly located if you plan to do a lot of walking. There are rental car offices a block away if you want to take a day trip, as we did one day. The Oak Room was a quiet, cozy place for a late dinner, and we enjoyed our room service breakfasts before heading out for the day. We stayed in the new tower, with stunning city views and lovely amenities. We will definitely be back the next time we visit the Bay Area.
