Great location... not so great hotel.
The location of this hotel could not be better. You are right in the middle of Georgetown and can walk to anything. Although our room was clean, it was small and quite dated. My wife and I had some maintenance concerns, as we did not have hot water the morning of our departure.

Stayed right in Georgetown!
Location, location, location. When we travel, we are always trying to control the costs, but who wants to stay in a bad neighborhood? With this hotel we were able to be a part of the Georgetown "scene" for a few days without breaking the bank. We got a deal through Expedia that provided free valet parking. That sealed the deal for u.

Grand Olde Style
A treat of a stay, at a decent price, which I got through Expedia. The staff were very cordial and efficient, and the room was comfortable. The whole feel of the place fits in with the history of the surrounding neighborhood: very old, quaint, and possibly haunted. The floor of the elevators still has the flush fitting where the switch post once stood, and in the elevator to the left, there is a scuffed place where the elevator operator would have stood all day. there is still a glass mail chute located next to them. If details of history like these appeal to you, this charmer holds them aplenty

The sidewalks are filled with folks socializing and shopping day and night, in the summer months. This neighborhood is safe at all hours. Plenty of shops of all types.
