The hotel is not luxurious, but is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if youre visiting at Harvard. You can walk everywhere.

Expensive, But Convenient
High priced with no parking except at exhorbitant rate. Meals far too expensive, i.e. most breakfast items will run you $25. Very convenenient to shops, restaurants, museums, Harvard Yard & only a few blocks to MTA. Rooms are quite nice, beds comfortable.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Dont eat at hotel. Food good but too pricey. Very few patrons took a meal there.

Mediocre
Indifferent service, disinterested staff, $10 for a half hour sitting at the computer in their tiny lobby, $30 a day extra to park, rooms reminded me of staying in a roadside motel in 1959. Entry though a Thrifty Car rental. But is is on Harvard Square -- the only thing it has going for it. Was it a refurbished dorm, a refurbished warehouse -- no one seemed to know and all of the natives I chatted with were unaware of its existence -- they confused it with shippier hotels of similar name.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Return late at night to your room, dont turn on the noisy airconditioner if you can help it, pretend you have to be there -- everything else booked,
