Food the only downfall
We loved the hotel, the location and our room. The staff always went out of there way to do anything and everything to make you happy. The food choices were very limited though and after a week you get bored and tired of it all. The morning breakfast buffet was fine and it was also a nice treat to have the walk up any time station. Bars were located very conveniently. We enjoyed the pool sandwhiches and the steak house lunches. Dinner was another story. The same places to eat only now for dinner. It seemed like the same food at the buffet for lunch and dinner. The steak house was again great, but the steak was too tough to cut much less chew. It was outside and we had already eaten lunch there!

Loved the 6th floor!
Terrible timing, we were there for hurricane Ida. With the amount of rain, it put a damper on our being outside. They were fixing some leaks in the ceiling, too. But, we always make the best of it, and the food was really good, and unlimited alcohol made it even better. Can’t imagine how fabulous it would have been in nice weather! We paid a little more to stay on the 6th floor. The concierge/hospitality room being open 24/7 for fun, food, and top shelf liquor was great. We totally enjoyed the access to the restaurants at their higher end sister resort next door, "The Royal". Definitely would go back!

Great for the price
This hotel was great for a quick, easy, and cheap girls trip. The hotel staff was wonderful in guest services and entertainment...food was ok to really really good and drinks were made well. Location was awesome!
