Cozumel Palace All Inclusive

Best all-inclusive ever!

We have traveled to Mexico,(Cancun, Playa, Cozumel) about 15 times the last 20 years and the Cozumel Palace was the best all-inclusive we have ever been to. The food was good, pools were nice, the size of the hotel was great, not too big! But, it was the service that was incredible, they would do anything for you they possibly could to make your stay perfect. My husband is always ready to go home after 4 or 5 nights but not this time, he wanted to stay a couple of more days. You can snorkel right off the hotel pier, it was great! There is no beach with waves but we loved the reef that was right in front of the hotel. We went on Oct. 24-28, and the hotel was not crowded so that was nice, but you do take a chance on the weather, we lucked out. Best vacation ever!

Awesome Vacation!! great staff, great Hotel. Still Smiling

We arrived on a Tuesday to a cold drink, a cold towel refreshing towel, and a very friendly welcome. It got better every minute from there. The room was better than expected and fully stocked with juice and drinks. We never wanted for more. The view was great; ocean, pool, and reef. Our dive boat picked us up at our dock every morning. We would come back from the dive and walk into the pool area to lunch and drinks. We never had to go ask for anything. We tipped regularly but no one expected or asked. They were thankful when we did, and pleasant when we didn’t. We just were so happy with the service we wanted to. We did the membership club trip to Aventura spa and received some spa credits. So many that my wife was unable to use them all. We liked the trip, didn’t mind the presentation, and had a great time. We would probably do it again. We will definitely come back here again. I’m already thinking about a spring vacation.

Guidos on the main drag had a great goat cheese, garlic bread appetizer and grilled fish dinner. We loved Blue Magic Scuba. They were perfect for us.

Great vacation

We stayed at the Cozumel Palace for 6 days. The service was exceptional We upgraded to the concierge level which gave us a guaranteed king bed & great view. We were on the 4th floor @ the very end & so we didn’t get a lot of the noise people talk about. The only thing we didn’t like was we were there to relax & they tried to push to go visit other resorts. The massages were great. Most of the food was good, the breakfast buffet was the best The service @ the pool was exceptional, never an empty glass. Overall great vacation & would love to return again.

We did the lobster pirate cruise was a lot of fun & the lobster was great. We swam with the dolphins next door to the resort, great experience

Excellent All-Inclusive

This is now one of my favorite resorts. I will be going back to any Palace Resort anytime I am traveling to Mexico.

Fantastic service

we have stayed at several all inclusives and this was by far the best. The staff were phenonmal and food was great. Looking forward to our next trip there.

Awesome Honeymoon Location

Went to Cozumel for our honeymoon over Labor Day ’09. Had a hard time choosing a Palace location because there are so many. Chose CP due to the small size. The place was empty when we went as it was the end of the season. Weather was perfect, the staff to guest ratio must have been 5:1, and was immaculate. Pools weren’t huge, so if the hotel was full it would be crowded. No beaches as it’s on a reef, but the man made ones are very nice. When we arrived we were ambushed, in a good way. Wet wash cloths to clean our faces, a coconut drink (very good), and a guy took us to sit down and review all the amenities and activities available. We did Coba tour (worth it) and Chankanaab (great snorkeling, otherwise lame). Food was lacking. 3 specialty rest. - Chinese, Mexican, Italian. We’re not super picky, but none of these had large menus or more than one item we’d eat - the food was a too eclectic for us. Ended up outside at the buffet for dinner every night. Breakfast/lunch were great, but dinner was disappointing. Overall, food was bland and without flavo. May have been tamed down for Americans who can’t handle it, but it went too far. Their desert chef is very talented. Nightly entertainment was hit or miss. Awesome fire dancing and dancing another night. Some of the other events were hokey. Only other complaint was the bed. Very nice, but my wife and I had a hard time sleeping well on it-very hard. Overall extremely satisfied. Would like to try another that maybe fits us better.

The Palace lives up to its name - felt like royalty!

The staff was wonderful, the view was magnificent and the hotel was sparkling clean. We logged about 10 dives with the hotel’s resident dive company - Aqua World (great staff and boats)- and loved the convenience of the dive lockers and rinse tanks by the boat dock. We went in the off-season, Sept. 6-13, and the occupancy was about 20%, which was fine with us - no crowds! Definitely a repeat destination!

Do the dolphin swim at the national park. Book it online directly with Dolphin Discovery, not through the hotel. Will save you a lot of money.

Could not have been better!

7th Trip and always stay here. They have continued to step it up. Everything about the place was perfect. Room, Food, Service, Spa WONDERFUL....!

One happy vacation!

My boyfriend and I are a young couple and we have booked Cozumel Palace for our vacation based on the location and reviews from previous travelers through Expedia. The reviews promised attentive staff, friendly hotel service, beautiful rooms, easy access to water right off the edge, a dive shop on premises with a boat pick up for scuba diving trips at the hotel pier and Cozumel Palace delivered just that. In fact, Cozumel Palace exceeded our expectations, and we would not hesitate to recommend this resort to any of our friends or family. The staff members always meet you with a smile and a cheerful greeting; your room will probably be cleaned several times a day; and if you dive, you can dive with friendly & knowledgeable Aqua-World divemasters and crew. The food was fine and we enjoyed the Italian restaurant the most (perhaps the only disappointment was the sushi in the Oriental restaurant) and if you have an early morning dive or a trip scheduled, take advantage of the free breakfast room service (great omelets). Your trip will be what you make of it, but this hotel is a foundation for the most comfortable trip of your life without paying too much money.

Check the Cozumel Palace official website for any promotional offers, Cozumel Palace honored it for us. Also, if planning a trip to the main land, know where the other hotels of the Palace hotel chain are (Palace Playacar is just to the left of the ferry on Riviera Maya) and plan your meals there with your valid all inclusive wrist band).

If you rent a car rent from a well known company. We rented a cheap jeep from a small local outfit and the engine blew up 2 hours later.

This hotel is the bomb if you go all inclusive. There is 24 hour room service and phenomenal mojitos at the pool bar. At night there are shows to enjoy while eating a buffet dinner (awesome dessert). Cookies, danishes, and paninis are available in the lobby to munch on. Cleaning staff are everywhere you go which is why the hotel is pristine! Snorkeling and scuba diving are right outside, but WATCH OUT for jelly fish which are sometimes there due to the currents. The hotel gift shop sells items for less than in town. The town is about a ten minute walk. Tip: Walk out of the airport to the street and get a taxi which is cheaper than an airport shuttle. However, the staff bugs you about timeshare meetings. The pool deck is extremely slippery, so be conscious of that while walking.

There is a dive shop, Aqua World, at the hotel where you can take courses on how to scuba dive and book various boat dives. The personnel are absolutely helpful and put your safety first. The boats are also spotless and have water to drink.

Already Planning Our Next Trip

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The food was great, the drinks were awesome, and every single member of the staff was extremely gracious and helpful. I have no complaints and felt the value of what we got for what we paid was definitely worth while. We are planning on going back next summer!

By far the best hotel Ive been at.The 24hr rm service is awesome. Ate at all of the restraunts all great, never got sick.Top shelf alcohol if you ask for it. They clean your rm 2x a day.Awesome oceanviews.You never want to come home they spoil you so much. All employees went out of their way to make whatever you wanted possible.They brought me a dessert from another rest. Mall is down the street from hotel.

Just pay for a taxi at the airport it cheaper or rent a car.If you upgrade you get some of the tours included in your package, so just sign up when you get to the hotel.Take $1 bills and tip, its worth it.

Great Service, Great Experience

This hotel was great, Stayed 7 nights, wished we could stay forever, it’s just like you see in the pictures. Friendly staff, great snorkeling (even saw an octopus!) Would defiantly stay here again.

Awesome Stay!

Beautiful hotel! Great Food! Great Stay! The staff is incredibly nice too. The Jacuzzi tub did not work in our room and we told Marvin at the front desk and it was fixed and ready to go the next day! It is a little nosey so if you are a light sleeper you may want to get some earplugs. If you stay here take the trip out to Chaknaab Park it is really beautiful and has great snorkeling. There is also great snorkeling just off of the steps of the hotel. The Coba tour was very neat too! We did a Pirate Boat lobster and steak dinner one night and it costs extra but it was worth it! It was very fun, but not young kid friendly but good for teens and adults. We will stay at a Palace Resort again!!!!!

Be sure and visit the tour center the first day and schedule your tours! Visit the spa too!!! We went shopping and we got the best prices at the hotel gift shop so check it out first!!!!

Can’t wait to go back!!!

This hotel chain was AWESOME!!! Words can’t describe it! We visited for our 6th anniversary and got treated like a king and queen! We were able to visit some of the other Palace hotels and they were wonderful too! We can’t wait to go back to an all inclusive adult only hotel. This one is great for families with children!!

Don’t miss going to Chankanaab and to Xcaret....wonderful attractions nearby!!! AND word from the wise....don’t get suckered into Timeshares when you get off the plane and get ready to go to your hotel.

Service was AWESOME!!

Hotel was beautiful! Will go back again. Service from the staff was just amazing. Tipping is included but these guys/girls do such and great job that you want to tip them. Hotel doesn’t have a beach but has access to the ocean for swimming and snorkeling. Food was alright, I wasn’t overly impressed, but for traditional Mexican food it was good. The outdoor grill was very good. The Italian place was buffet style and needed more choices for the picky eater, but overall very satisfied with my stay.

Get off the resort and see things!! Locals are very friendly and shopping is dirt cheap!

Lovin life at the Palace

The hotel was beautifully maintained. Room was cleaned each day, with clean towels provided twice a day. Our room was extremely comfortable - loved the hammock on the deck. Food was good, nothing spectacular. If you’re looking for a beach, this is not the place for you, but the view from our hotel was terrific. You’re right near downtown, if that appeals to you.

We would recommend renting a jeep for a trip around the island. We would probably rent it for two days next time. Many fun restaurants. We enjoyed the kayaking trip at Punta Sur.
