Terrific way to visit Yosemite

Tenaya is a terrific way to visit Yosemite with all the comforts of home. Excellent service, food, room, and amenities make this 4-diamond resort worth the cost. Frequent shoulder- and off-season specials make it a great value.

Service Unacceptable; The Worst Restaurants; Lodging Rooms and Location Great

We had heard that the Tenaya Lodge was a great place to stay but the restaurants and associated service was horrible. It is very true. The food was underwhelming, extremely expensive, small portions for fees charged and the worst, absolute worst, service. It was quite frustrating since guests are captive unless they want to drive. The pizzeria now part of the Lodge, while the only place with good service, offered so-so pizza, a substandard salad bar and basic noodles. The front desk clerks were quite grumpy but we had the absolute BEST, most charming, helpful bell person, Eric - almost made up for the awful service everywhere else. Thanks.
