Not Impresses
We were allowed to check in early which we appreciated. But, when we walked into our room it was freezing. We ran the heat at 83 degrees for a couple hours and the room did warm but the bathroom did not. The floor waslike ice and it was dirty. I wiped up a lot of dirt from a smallarea ont he bathroom floor. Spoke tot he manager and they changed our room. The new room was warm but MUCH smaller. Not really sure that we will be returning to this lodge for a stay.

Noise
Great hotel but do not let them give you the room s near the front elevators. The noise from the lobby is so bad they actually place signs on pedestals near the elevators tell quests to please be quiet.

Great time
I stayed in November in Tenaya Lodge and had a very good time. We stayed in the cottages, which is equiped with a fireplace. After a long hike during the day, is a cozy room and roomservice the right thing to do. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Restaurants in the hotel are good but a little pricy. If you stay in the cottages you have to drive to the hotel to use the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Overall i had a very good experience at Tenaya Lodge and would recommend it.
Be well equiped with the right cloth, food and water if you go in the winter time. There are not a lot of places, where you can get things like that.
