The :Luxe is Strange
The hotel is situated on a hill with two separate buildings. You drive to the second building. There is no self-park, only valet. If you want to get from the top building to the restaurant, you must call for a valet shuttle. There is no safe walkway to the bottom building. Upon arrival, there were two large poodles running around without a leash that "belonged to a guest:" I just hoped for no fleas. The building was one floor with a large patio looking out to the city. Nice. The flat screen TV on the wall was to small for the distance to the bed. Maybe 32". The room was large and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint might be the noise level coming from the next room. I could hear people talking late into the night and childrens cartoons on at 6:30 a.m. .

Lovely but be prepred to wait for your car.
The Luxe is a lovely and conveniently located hotel. The lobby was clean, modern & convenient. The staff was helpful and efficient. Our room was large, well-maintained and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and towels. The only drawback was the extra $25 nightly parking charge. The parking lot of the Lux is so small that cars are parked one behind another and must be parked & retrieved by the hotel valet. Every time we wanted to use the car there was another $5 tip required and a wait (up to 20 minutes) while the valet moved several cars around in order to get ours from behind several others. We did not use the pool, but it was absolutely gorgeous.
