Best hotel on oahu
Service top notch. People were so friendly and also would help you any way they could. Rooms were so peaceful ! Went for our honeymoon !

Give the staff of this hotel a raise - they deserve it!
On arrival, we were greeted at the ground floor entrance with smiles, two glasses of cool lime water, shell and pod necklaces, and a cold towel to refresh ourselves! The hotel had fresh flower arrangements for the decor and there was a real orchid plant growing in the elegant bathroom! The bed was scrumptiously comfortable. Even though we had the most reasonable room in the place, (beach walk studio) we enjoyed watching the surfers on the Waikiki waves in the morning. Every night the sheets were turned back and a fresh bottle of cool Hawaiian Isles purified water was beside the bed! The books about local culture in the room were fantastic. We were provided beach towels and a fruit snack one day when we went to the beach. Each day a free newspaper was at the door. For morning coffee, Starbucks was right across the street! The pool was warm and good for lap swimming. If money is no problem and you want luxury and security and privacy, select this hotel!!
I like to drive and be free and independent and explore new sites. So we rented a car. Even though we had to pay extra for parking at our hotel in Waikiki, ($28 per day plus a tip for the valet attendant), it was worth it. Otherwise you feel trapped by having to wait for a bus, or a taxi. Traffic was heavy on the freeway, but one must learn to be a patient driver! Everything is marked very well around the island, so we had no problem finding anything. Without a rental car, we would not have been able to see and experience all of Oahu, such as the north shore, the Pali highway, regular neighborhoods, and local hideaways. So, if you are a free-spirited type, and want to experience new sites and adventures, rent a car!

Nice Hotel
The Trump International is mostly what you would expect, great service and plush accomodations. The hotel was clean (brand new) and the staff incredibly helpful and pleasant. Some downsides were how much they charged for parking ($28/day) and the fact that they didn’t have their own beach chairs so you are forced to use a vendor at $35/day. Other than that a great location for walking along the beach and restaurants and shopping.
