Will stay there again.
Very beautiful and charming old home. Another a/c unit in the second bedroom would have been heaven!

Adequate and quiet . . .
The inn keepers were wonderful - helpful - entertaining! The owner, however, thought she was "too good" to meddle with the common folk - whatever!!! She was also very difficult to contact.
The "two blocks walking distance to all the action" listed on almost all the hotels/inns in New Orleans are more like six blocks. Unless you stay in the French Quarter - the walking is a little more than what a "normal" person would like to do - you almost have to drive and the parking situation in the French Quarter and busy area is ridiculous and expensive (a little dark and scary at night too if you have little ones).
